Suburban Tool produces a medical bandsaw with a modular design to allow for easy disassembly for autoclaving purposes.  The entire bandsaw can be disassembled into autoclave manageable sections in 10 minutes or less.  Everything on the bandsaw itself can be put into an autoclave tank for sterilization.  With the purchase of your first Suburban Tool bandsaw, you will also need a bandsaw cart or motor section.  This is a cart with adjustable height so it can be used ergonomically in any facility.  It is completely wrapped in polished stainless steel sheet so it can be wiped down and sterilized easily.  This cart houses the motor and all of the electronics to give the bandsaw variable speed and a brake to slow down more rapidly.  After the purchase of the first bandsaw, it is not necessary to purchase another bandsaw carts.  Any bandsaw will attach to any bandsaw cart so that you can have saws running while the others are being autoclaved without having to purchase additional carts.
